Each year, ARA produces a digital sustainability report, aiming for a dynamic report format that effectively conveys extensive information. This project was driven by the challenge of handling a significant volume of text while ensuring users could easily navigate through the report without feeling overwhelmed by the amount of Information.

ARA’s project brief centered on creating a digital sustainability report that would be accessible to a wide audience. The primary objective was to design a report format that presented a wealth of information in a reader-friendly manner. The challenge lay in transforming a substantial amount of content into a format that was engaging and easy to navigate.

User research played a pivotal role in shaping the digital sustainability report. By understanding the needs and preferences of the target audience, we aimed to design an intuitive user experience. It was crucial to ensure that users could swiftly and efficiently access the extensive information while feeling in control of their navigation.

During the screen design phase, we tackled the challenge of presenting a massive volume of text in a digestible format. Our focus was on crafting visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that facilitated an effortless flow of information. In order to enhance the user experience, the header area was transformed into a mega menu, offering a dynamic yet intuitive way to navigate through the wealth of content. Scrollytelling was leveraged to engage users in a playful, interactive journey, transitioning them from a rigid, static webpage to a more immersive and user-centric experience.

Reflecting on the ARA project, we successfully overcame the challenge of managing extensive text in the digital sustainability report. Our approach focused on user-centric design, emphasizing content organization and user-friendliness. By structuring information and ensuring intuitive navigation, we transformed the report into an engaging and accessible resource that aligns with ARA’s sustainability goals.
