Project Brief
„OrPha Swiss“ approached us with a clear vision – to transform their website into a modern, user-friendly platform that effectively showcases their products and brand. The project brief emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong Swiss identity while ensuring a seamless online experience for their global audience.
User Research
To kickstart the project, extensive user research was conducted. We delved into the preferences and expectations of „Orpha Swiss“ customers, both current and potential, to gain insights that would inform our design decisions. This research guided us in creating a website that catered to the diverse needs of their audience.
Scree Design
We initiated the design process by creating wireframes, which served as the cornerstone for the website’s structure. Analyzing the site’s architecture, scrutinizing the user flow, and identifying pain points were pivotal steps in our approach. Our team skillfully crafted visually appealing and functional interfaces, striking a harmonious balance between aesthetics and functionality. By implementing a user-centric design approach, we ensured that every screen of the website was intuitive, easy to navigate, and effectively showcased „Orpha Swiss“ products, making it effortless for users to gather information about them.
Retrospective
One of the most significant challenges we encountered during this project was the need to implement access restrictions for specific sections of the website, limiting them to medical personnel only. Balancing this requirement with the presentation of general information available to all users was a complex task. Our team tackled this challenge by implementing a robust user authentication system and a clearly defined access control mechanism. This solution allowed us to maintain the website’s user-friendliness while ensuring that sensitive medical information remained accessible exclusively to the intended audience.
